So the place was like a labyrinth littered with rude staff and broken promises. I showed up and it was like entering a scene from a horror movie, first, they told me my room was canceled because they only accepted cash for a deposit but I had already paid for the room online. Just standing there I felt like I was in the wrong universe
It wasn’t cheap either, but I had no choice at that point.

I stayed at Oyo Hotel McAllen Airport South for three nights. The location was super convenient for my travels. The room was clean with new paint and furnishings, which I appreciated. It had a microwave and mini fridge that came in handy. The staff were friendly and accommodating when I needed a hair dryer, which made my stay more comfortable. However, the bed was not the most comfortable. the sheets felt a bit thin and not very cozy. My key card stopped working every day, which was frustrating. Also, the Wi-Fi connection in my room wasn’t reliable. Overall, it had its ups and downs but it wasn't the worst stay I’ve had.

Spent a lovely night with my son's family. The area was pleasant and quiet, giving us a peaceful stay. We especially enjoyed the pool – it was clean and a hit with the kids. Perfect for family bonding!
In my wife’s opinion, more family-friendly activities would be great.
